Anthology Theatre began its life in 2002, founded by Bob Benton.

Since then, Anthology has invested in, commissioned, developed, produced and general managed a great number of projects in the West End, on UK and International tours and Broadway.

Credits include: The Doctor (New York); The Collaboration (Young Vic and New York); Happy Days (Riverside Studios); Kan Yama Kan (International); Bleak Expectations (West End); The Lehman Trilogy (West End); Titanic (International Tour); This Is My Family (Southwark); The Two Popes (UK Tour); The Mozart Question (Cirencester); Trial By Laughter (UK Tour); Cat On A Hot Tin Roof (West End); The Wipers Times (UK Tour) and many more.

In 2025 the decision was made to focus solely on investing in productions.
