Anthology Theatre began its life in 2002 when Bob Benton started supporting and investing in productions. Since then, we have grown into a full-scale production company, producing and managing its own work under Managing Director & Executive Producer, Lil Lambley.
Having enjoyed a 30-year career in broking and investment banking, Bob transferred his expertise to the development and production of media content. He founded Bob &Co in 2010, which rebranded as the Anthology Group in 2018. Bob has executive produced multiple productions across film, theatre, and television.
Before joining Anthology, Lil worked as a general manager in the West End, most notably at Sonia Friedman Productions and Ambassador Theatre Group. Lil has also worked as a theatre consultant with an emphasis on business affairs, budgeting and financial analysis, and contractual support and sits on the board of Headlong Theatre Company and Cranleigh Arts Centre.
Caitlin was the first employee of Bob & Co, the original name of the Anthology group, and has worked with Bob Benton since 2010 across media operations, investment, development and production.
